Who we are

D+T Microelectrónica A.I.E. is an Association of Economic Interest in charge of the commercial exploitation of IMB-CNM. Its mission is providing industry and scientific research with turnkey solutions based in microelectronics technology.

The Spanish National Research Council (CSIC) is its majority partner and its industrial partners are: Mondragón Componentes S. Coop, Agbar (Sociedad General de Aguas de Barcelona S.A.) and Alter Technology Ventures, S.L.

Meet the staff of D+T Microelectronics A.I.E.

Humberto Mata

Gerente

A Telecommunications Engineer and MBA, he has been affiliated with the Group since 1999. Currently, he serves as manager of D+T Microelectrónica A.I.E., where he performs management, institutional coordination, and strategic oversight of the entity's activities, as well as liaising with the IMB-CNM and the scientific and technological ecosystem.

Manuel Lozano

Director-Administrator

PhD in Physics and Research Professor at the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC). Expert in microelectronics, specializing in radiation detectors. He founded the Radiation Detectors Group at the Institute of Microbiology and Nuclear Medicine (IMB-CNM) in 1997. He has led four European projects, one of them as Coordinator. He has been a founding partner of two spin-off companies. He served as Director of the IMB-CNM (CSIC) from 2016 to 2021 and Coordinator of the Physical Science and Technologies Area at the CSIC from 2012 to 2016. Since 2014, he has been Director of Research and Technology (R+T).

Daniela Bassignana

Quality and Project Manager

With a PhD in Physics from the Autonomous University of Barcelona and an Executive MBA from the Polytechnic University of Catalonia, I have worked at D+T Microelectronics A.I.E. since 2014 as a project manager and since 2022 as the head of the ISO9001:2015 certified quality management system. My responsibilities include the development of microelectronic technologies, the management of customer-oriented projects, and quality management.

We put our facilities and our expertise at your service. We can run single processes in order to test and optimize your technologies, fabricate and characterize prototypes to study feasibility of your new ideas or managing pilot series and/or final production of your devices.

Our experience spreads in different markets, from Industrial and quality control to healthcare and medical technology, from big science experiments to space applications.

ISO9001 Quality System

IMB-CNM and D+T Microelectrónica A.I.E have an ISO9001 certified Quality Management System for the activities carried out within the Micro and Nanofabrication Clean Room for the manufacture of microelectronic devices. The scope of the certification is:

Design, development and production of devices based on nano and microelectronic technologies.
